Harrison Rally Day parade and festival plans are already coming together for the annual Perrysburg celebration that will be on Sept. 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Perrysburg.
The musical schedule has been released and will include Nine Lives from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Buck69 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and Jack and the Bear from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The parade will go through downtown at 10 a.m. The lineup usually includes fire trucks, the high school marching band, twirlers, public officials, and representatives from churches and other organizations. Booths will line Louisiana Avenue from which organizations to artists and more will offer various items. There will also be children‘s activities and games.
Last year with several open seats for public office the parade and booths featured many candidates with their campaign signs and literature. The election in November will bring mostly supporters, or naysayers, for different levies slated for the Perrysburg area.
Harrison Rally Day is put on by the Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce with the help with arts and music coordinating from Main ART-ery.
