Perrysburg Transit has expanded service to include Call-A-Ride, according to information provided by the city.
Call-A-Ride will be available to all Perrysburg citizens during times when the paratransit service is not being utilized. It will be provided on a non-guaranteed first-come, first-served basis during the interim term through Nov. 11.
Hours of service are: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 9 a.m to 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
A 24-hour advance reservation is required; call 419-872-8430 for service within Perrysburg.
There will be no fees charged to utilize the service through Nov. 11, according to the city.
Perrysburg City Council contracted with Ride Right LLC of St. Louis to transport riders with disabilities within the city after Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority service ended.
Voter approval of a 1.45-mill, five-year levy on the Nov. 6 ballot would pay for the hiring of Ride Right to operate Perrysburg’s proposed transit system through the end of the year and through 2013.
