With fall arriving, that means it is time for Perrysburg residents to rake leafs to be picked up.
The city schedule and practice for leaf and brush pickup differs from Perrysburg Township.
City residents should put leaves near the street -- but not on it -- without a car parked in front of the pile and not near storm drains or mailboxes. The city crews do not want the leafs bagged because a vacuum is used to pick them up. The city will work from Oct. 21 from the west side of town and move east. The final sweep of the city will begin on Dec. 2. Leaves put out after the final sweep will not be collected by city crews.
City residents who miss the curbside collection may use the City Compost Site at at 11980 Roachton Rd. Hours are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (excluding holidays) and also on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. – noon.
Residents should consult the city Web page for details at www.ci.perrysburg.oh.us.
