Property on Broad Street which Perrysburg Township officials want cleaned up.
The owner of a Perrysburg Heights lot has been given notice from Perrysburg Township to clean it up or else the township will do so and bill him.
Township trustees passed three resolutions last week about the property at 25606 Broad St. One measure said vegetation garbage, refuse, and other debris had to be cleaned up within seven days of notice or the township would do so itself. Another resolution said the owner has 14 days after notice to "permanently remove all junk motor vehicles from the premise," or else the township would.
The final resolution said the township could remove, repair or board up the building on the site if it is deemed unsafe.
Township Administrator Walt Celley said he has tried to contact the owner, Michelle Paschen, of the abandon lot many times to try to get the property cleaned up. Now, so much time has passed with no action on the site, it is time for the township to act, he said.
