Jeff Abke, director of Development for Perrysburg Schools, gives seminar attendees information about the Perrysburg Schools Foundation and the John P. Donahue Memorial Scholarship awarded annually to a graduating senior with mock trial participation.
Perrysburg Municipal Court had a successful seminar last week with 75 attorneys in attendance.
The funds collected are used for Perrysburg Court Law & Government Explorer Post 2306 programs, including awarding scholarships to seniors, an annual banquet and potentially a trip to Columbus for state competition. All of the Explorer Post officers are students of Perrysburg High School.
Presenters included Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles Registrar Mike Rankin and Toledo Reinstatement Office Supervisor Diane Hayward; Perrysburg Municipal Court judicial candidates Molly Mack and Tom Mackin; and Jeff Abke, Director of Development for Perrysburg Schools, who provided information about the Perrysburg Schools Foundation.
