Running, swimming, and cycling were among featured topics today during the Team Toledo Triathlon Club's annual winter expo.
The expo, held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Boulevard Church of Christ, 7041 W. Sylvania Ave., was open to the public. During the expo, information was provided on nutrition, fitness, sporting apparel, personal coaches, and race management.
Vendors, displays, demonstrations, and a silent auction were among slated activities, including a basic bike maintenance clinic at 1:30 p.m. and at 3 p.m., yoga for triathletes.
Throughout the day, Team Toledo Triathlon Club members could renew memberships and order uniforms. A Mideast Region representative was on hand to talk about triathlon rules.
Members answered questions guests asked about triathlons and demonstrations included a Retul Bike Fit software demonstration. Retul is a state-of-the-art motion 3D- capture bike fit system.
