The 16th annual Perrysburg Relay for Life came to the Commodore Building Friday night where cancer survivors and supporters walked for a cause.

Tents were up through the night in the as the Relay For Life runs through noon Saturday. The event, which raises money, started at 6 p.m. Friday, and went hand-in-hand with downtown Perrysburg's First Friday.
Of the 6th annual Relay For Life, Marcia Clark, American Cancer Society representative, said, . "This overnight event raises money and awareness while serving as a celebration for cancer survivors, a memorial for loved ones lost, and a rally for the community to take up the fight."
All the proceeds from the fund-raising event go to the American Cancer Society. The group is trying to find a cure for cancer, help those that are going through it, and fight cancer.
