To bide their time and keep one another calm, Uma, an Indian-American girl disconcerted by her parent's decision to return to India after 20 years living in the United States asks the group to share one amazing thing they have witnessed throughout their lives. One by one, they share their story, baring their past, and finding the bonds of humanity.
