Sylvania area crime log, fire runs 11/27

Here are the crimes reported to Sylvania and Sylvania Township police departments in the past week. Sylvania Township Fire Department runs also are listed.

Sylvania Police

Nov. 20

Burglary. Sylvania Towers, 5301 W. Alexis Road, a suspect broke into the apartment complex and stole miscellaneous building supplies.

Theft. Ryan Spear, 5700 block of Summit Street, reported an Ohio temporary license was stolen from his vehicle.

Nov. 23

Theft. Flower Hospital, 5200 Harroun Rd., reported theft of two 20-ounce bottles of Coca-Cola and two packs of macadamia nut cookies.

Nov. 27

Theft. Kroger Timberstone, 7545 Sylvania Ave., where the store manager reported theft of two 20-ounce soft drinks, two packages containing four pieces of chicken, one package of brownie bites, and one tube of Icy Hot cream.

Nov. 20

Theft. Debra Atkins, unknown address, reported fraudulent card usage on a Fifth Third Bank credit card.

Nov. 21

Burglary. Stephen Spowler, 2600 block of Wilford Drive, reported that an unknown person forced entry into his home and stole several items.

Nov. 22

Burglary. Ester Ulrich, 6200 block of Bonsels Drive, reported a suspect broke into her home while she was in the hospital and stole a Panasonic flat screen TV.

Nov. 24

Burglary. Carie Beckham, 5900 block of Artwell Drive, reported that her bedroom window was forced open while she was out of town for the weekend, and a Toshiba flat screen TV and a Dell Inspiron laptop were stolen.

Nov. 25

Theft. Gregory Kopan, 2800 block of North Reynolds Road, reported his keys were stolen from his locker at Wildwood Athletic Center.
