State grant gives sheriff
overtime for deputies

PORT CLINTON — This month will bring extra patrols from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff will schedule overtime shifts for deputies to watch for impaired drivers and speed violations during August. The overtime work is paid for with a state highway safety grant.
