The Scene: The Distillery

What makes your place unique: We are open 365 days a year and have been open for almost 23 years. Our food is fabulous, from our original wing sauces to our specialty sandwiches. We have food and drink specials every day, including our Power Hour every evening from 8 to 9pm.

Origin of name: In 1988 the place needed to open and everything was moving very fast. Three names where put in a hat and The Distillery was picked.

Type of music/entertainment: We have live music four to five nights a week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays we have local acoustic artists, and Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays we have bands that play music from the '80s, '90s, and contemporary hits. We host our favorite local party bands and crazy dance party bands from all over Ohio.

Clientele: All ages from opening until 9 p.m. and we cater to people 21 and older from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Upcoming events: The Bridges will be here the first weekend of August and Arctic Clam on Aug. 13.
