■ More than 70 vendors from all over the Midwest will showcase their wares Saturday in Toledo's train station at Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza, 415 Emerald Ave., during Handmade Toledo's Makers Mart as part of the Holiday Loop. Kid-friendly activities including caricature artists, face painting, and crafts also will be available. Local food trucks will be on site and guests can enjoy the sounds of local buskers and DJs as they shop for handmade goods. The mart is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. A $1 donation is suggested. Parking is free. Information: handmadetoledo.com.

■ Make It Indie, a one-day alternative/indie craft fair, will be held in Toledo's UpTown District on Saturday. The fair is a celebration of Midwest handmade goods, do-it-yourself crafters, and unique, one-of-a-kind items. Make It Indie blends new and original concepts made from scratch with old-school standards, using new and unconventional materials, found objects, and re-purposed items. The vendor's showcase will feature handmade jewelry and purses, sketches, handmade leather goods, ceramics, and knitted clothing. The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Food, drinks, and music will be available. Admission is $1 for adults and free for children age 12 and younger. Information: makeitindie.com.

■ It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Wolcott House Museum Complex, 1035 River Rd., Maumee, where every room is decorated for the holiday as part of the museum's the Night Before Christmas exhibit. The featured exhibits include old-fashioned toys and games to be played by visitors. Elegant gowns from the 19th century will also be on display as well as a selection of Thomas Nast prints. Tours will take place at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. starting today and running through Dec. 29. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $1.50 for students. Tickets are available in the gift shop.
