Address: 5044 Suder Ave.
What makes your place unique? We are the only bar in Point Place that offers eight lines of draught beer with a heavy focus on live music year around as well as volleyball in the summer. We can accommodate up to 20 teams per night Sunday through Thursday. We bring in some of Toledo's best bands Fridays and Saturdays.
Origin of your name: We wanted to remind people of the truly great days this club had when it originally was called the Oarhouse.
What type of music do you feature? We are shifting to having high-energy dance bands Friday nights and going with country on Saturdays. The full transition will take place in January. We feature a ladies night on Wednesday and we alternate each week with either Dueling Pianos by The New Fashioned or live band karaoke with Danny Thomas. We just started "Name That Tune" with David Z and Branden every Monday at 8.
Upcoming events: Ugly Sweater Party with Preston Prescott at 9 p.m. Saturday — all sweaters can be donated to the Salvation Army at the end of the night; Caveman and the Dinosaurs, Dec. 13; The Earregulars, Dec. 14; Haywire, Dec. 20; Boogie Matrix, Dec. 21; Kentucky Chrome, Dec. 27; Mas Fina, Dec. 28; and New Year's Eve Party with The Sweet Tea Band, Dec. 31.
