AUDITIONS

Maumee Valley Civic Theatre will hold open auditions for its production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at 7 p.m. June 1 and 2 at the John L. Johnson Auditorium, 303 W. Main St., Napoleon. A large cast of all ages is needed, including a children's chorus. Show dates are July 24, 25, and 26. Information: 966-2532 or mvctohio.org.

The Ritz Players will hold open auditions for its production of Les Miserables at 6:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Brenneman Music Hall at Heidelberg University, Tiffin. Show dates are July 11-12 and July 19-20 at the Ritz Theatre. There are roles for five men and four women (two of them in their late teens), three children (two girls 5 to 7 years old and one boy 8 to 10 years old) and a large ensemble. Candidates must be ready to sing prepared songs from the show. Information: director Jim Cook, 927-4150. Bellevue Society for the Arts will hold open auditions for Teen Theatre’s Zombie Prom at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Hirt Theatre, 205 Maple St., Bellevue. Candidates should furnish eight bars of a musical number of their choosing; a song that is sung by the character for which candidates are auditioning is optimal, but not required. There will be no accompanist; bring a CD or prepare to sing a cappella. Show dates are July 11-12 at 7:30 p.m. and July 13 at 2:30 p.m.
