Man held on felony charge during truancy sweep

A 19-year-old man was arrested yesterday on felony warrants during a citywide truancy sweep by Toledo police.

Officers arrested Joey Osley after he jumped into the Ottawa River. Officers were interviewing Mr. Osley about truancy when he ran away from them. Mr. Osley was being held in the Lucas County Jail on warrants for felonious assault, aggravated burglary, vandalism, and kidnapping. Police said Mr. Osley also will face charges stemming from the chase.
