A gunman robbed a Sylvania Township Shell gas station yesterday, fleeing in an employee's car and later dumping it about a mile away, police said.

The suspect entered the gas station, 5473 Monroe St., about 1:40 a.m. and pointed a silver-colored handgun at the clerk. He demanded the cash and the clerk's car keys.

The robber fled with about $120 from the register and drove away in the car, which was found off Corey Road, police said.
