Two Toledo boys were ordered held in the Lucas County Juvenile Detention Center yesterday after they were charged with setting a fire at the Academy of Business and Technology charter school.

The boys, both 13, each were charged with one count of delinquency in connection with aggravated arson. They were ordered held in the detention center after hearings in Lucas County Juvenile Court.

The boys are accused of start|ing a fire in a bucket in a nearby building and dumping the bucket into a large trash can in a vestibule of the gymnasium at the school, 2436 Parkwood Ave., about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday., Toledo fire Investigator Denis Bembenek said.

He said a student entering the school saw the fire and told school officials, who extinguished the blaze and called fire investigators. The building was occupied at the time of the fire. Both boys were arrested at the school, Mr. Bembenek said.
