Couple stab each other during fight, police say

Two people were hurt seriously yesterday when they were stabbed during an apparent domestic incident at a duplex at 323 1/2 Islington St., Toledo police said.

Larkesha McCorey, 26, and James Day, Jr., 23, were in serious and critical condition, respectively, last night at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after the noon incident. She was found lying just inside the door to the upstairs apartment. He was found lying on the porch at 319 Islington, police said.

Police said the two were involved in a domestic argument that escalated. No charges have been filed.
