Internet sting catches man soliciting teen for sex

DELPHOS, Ohio — A Lake County man has been charged with trying to solicit sex from an undercover Delphos police officer posing as a teenager.

Arthur H. Auld, 55, of Perry, Ohio, was arrested Monday at Leisure Park in Delphos and charged with importuning, a fifth-degree felony. Police said Mr. Auld had contacted the undercover officer on the Internet and arranged a meeting in Delphos.
