Toledo man indicted in Rockingham death
A Toledo man has been indicted for the shooting death last month of Kenneth Allen Young, who was shot while sitting in the driver s seat of his parked car.
Donnie Ray Hughes, 42, of 311 Rockingham St., was indicted yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury on one count of murder. He also was indicted for having a weapon while under disability in an unrelated incident. Both charges carry gun specifications.
Mr. Young, 23, of 1915 Walnut St., was shot multiple times Nov. 17 while he was in a car in the driveway of 325 Rockingham. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the victim and Hughes had argued earlier in the day, but the subject of the disagreement was unclear.
Hughes is being held in the Lucas County jail.
