Suspects in break-ins indicted in Ottawa County

7/2/2004

PORT CLINTON - Two men have been indicted by an Ottawa County grand jury for allegedly breaking into two elementary schools and a township hall.

Matthew L. Rook, 19, and Matthew Kohl, 18, both of Rocky Ridge, face three counts each of breaking and entering and theft and five counts each of criminal damaging.

Mr. Rook also was indicted on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities said the indictments capped an investigation into entries last month at Rocky Ridge Elementary, Graytown Elementary, and the Benton Township Hall.
