WAUSEON - A Fulton County man was indicted Wednesday on 13 felony counts, including rape and gross sexual imposition, some of which involved a minor.

Bruce Edward Stace, 34, was indicted on two counts each of rape and gross sexual imposition and three counts each of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, pandering obscenity involving a minor, and possession of criminal tools, according to Fulton County Common Pleas Court records.

The rape and gross sexual imposition reportedly occurred between Feb. 1 and 17 and involved a girl under 13, the indictment says.

The three counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, pandering obscenity involving a minor, and possession of criminal tools, specifically, a computer, reportedly occurred on or about Dec. 3, 2003, Jan. 31, and Feb. 15, the indictment says.

Fulton County Sheriff Darrell Merillat declined to comment on the indictment, and Fayette Police Chief Rick Kline and county Prosecutor Roger Nagel could not be reached for comment yesterday.

Mr. Stace was not in custody and did not have an arraignment date set as of yesterday afternoon.
