A central Toledo man who was struck twice by a hit-skip driver last week after he and another man allegedly robbed two men in a parking lot was charged in the holdup and appeared yesterday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Rex Tall, Jr., 19, of 2421 Lawton Ave., charged with one count of aggravated robbery, was being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

Police alleged he approached one of the men with a handgun in the parking lot of the Player s Club, 724 Junction Ave., on July 14 and demanded items. The victim gave the suspects his money and jewelry.

Afterward, a van sped toward the suspects and both tried to run. One fled, but Mr. Tall was hit. He ran from the lot, and the van driver followed him and hit him again with the vehicle on Junction, police said. Mr. Tall was treated at Toledo Hospital.
