Toledo police filed multiple charges against two drug suspects whose attempt to flee from arrest yesterday afternoon ended with a crash on an I-75 exit ramp, according to police reports.

Aaron Spearing, 25, of 5317 Jackman Rd., and Deanna Galbraith, 24, of Swanton, both reportedly suffered minor injuries in the 5:20 p.m. crash on the Bancroft Street ramp from northbound I-75 in central Toledo.

Police obtained warrants for their arrests pending completion of medical care, but information about the suspects treatment was not available last night.

According to police, Mr. Spearing was driving a 1994 Ford Town Car, with Ms. Galbraith as its passenger, when a marked patrol car attempted to pull them over in the 700 block of Western Avenue in South Toledo. The Town Car fled west on Western and then north on the Anthony Wayne Trail, from which it entered northbound I-75.

While attempting to exit the freeway at Bancroft, Mr. Spearing lost control and the auto crashed.
