A gunman robbed a Fifth Third Bank branch in Perrysburg Township yesterday of an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.

The man entered the branch, 10105 Fremont Pike near Thompson Road, about 1:30 p.m. and handed a teller a note before fleeing on foot with the money, authorities said.

No one was hurt.

Witnesses described the robber as being in his 30s, about 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds. He was wearing muddy boots, a Detroit Tigers baseball cap, and dark wire-rimmed glasses.

The FBI and township police are continuing their investigation.
