Man surrenders in 1993 slaying of Toledo woman

A Toledo man indicted this week for an 11-year-old murder turned himself into police yesterday.

Terrance Glover, 29, of 2546 Fulton St., surrendered about 11 a.m. at the Safety Building and was being held in the Lucas County jail pending arraignment in Common Pleas Court.

He was indicted Thursday on one count of murder for the Sept. 21, 1993, shooting death of Tamara Williams. The indictment includes a specification that a gun was used.

Ms. Williams, who was 32 and the mother of seven, was on her way to pick up her children at her mother s home on Lawrence Avenue when a man in a car parked at Lawrence and Delaware Avenue called her over to the vehicle and shot her in the head, chest, and right leg.
