4 Toledo men are arrested for robberies at 3 businesses

Four Toledo men were arrested yesterday after three central-city robberies overnight, police said.

The first robbery, at Lee's Beauty Supply, 3415 Monroe St., occurred about 7:45 p.m. Thursday. A man with a semi-automatic handgun entered the store demanding money. He fled after getting the cash.

The second, at Howard's gas station, 3730 Monroe St., was at about 10:30 p.m. A man with a gun demanded money and fled east on Monroe in a burgundy sport utility vehicle.

The third robbery, at the 7-Eleven store at 3749 Upton Ave., was reported about 3 a.m. yesterday. A man with a gun demanded money and fled northbound.

Christopher Earl Commons, 20, of 2534 Rosedale Ave.; Ronnel Markuse Isom-Scott, 20, of 3225 Maplewood Ave.; Carlton Stonewall Jackson, 19, of 1603 South Cove Blvd., and John Luther Jackson, 20, of 429 Prescott St., were arrested at 9 a.m. yesterday in the 700 block of Washington Street and booked into the Lucas County jail.

Mr. Commons was charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the 7-Eleven robbery.

John Jackson was charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the Howard's robbery and with complicity in the 7-Eleven robbery.

Carlton Jackson was charged with aggravated robbery for the 7-Eleven robbery and complicity in the Howard's robbery.

Mr. Isom-Scott was charged with complicity in the 7-Eleven robbery.
