Wildlife removal experts yesterday removed two small alligators and other reptiles from 732 Brighton Ave. after Toledo police were tipped to their presence.

Police were contacted about the alligators in the home of Michael Garrett, 36, who has been in the Lucas County jail since Saturday on domestic violence charges, according to Toledo Municipal Court records.

Police found two small alligators in separate fish tanks, a chameleon, an iguana, and two snakes in the home.

Mr. Garrett s wife agreed to removal of the reptiles. No one was charged, police said.
