Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about a male accused of raping a 14-year-old girl who was abducted this week at Cherry and Mettler streets. The male told the girl about 8 a.m. Monday that he had a gun, and forced her to walk to the 100 block of Hausman Street, where he raped her in an alley, police said.

The suspect was described as black, possibly between 16 and 19 years old, and between 5 feet, 8 inches and 6 feet tall. He had a dark complexion with acne bumps on his face. He wore a white do-rag, a tan velour jacket with brown stripes on the arms and sides, tan shorts, and white "Air Force One" tennis shoes. He carried a backpack. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stopper. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
