A South Toledo home was damaged extensively last night by a fire that appeared to be set intentionally, Battalion Fire Chief Eric Renzhofer said.
Firefighters responded to 1442 Colton St. just before 10 p.m. and found flames coming from the one-story structure. No one was hurt in the blaze, which was under control in about 15 minutes.
Chief Renzhofer said gasoline was spread throughout the home and there were multiple ignition points. He estimated the loss at $35,000.
