Man arrested in three Toledo hold-ups; suspect sought in unrelated robbery

A South Toledo man charged in three south end hold-ups was ordered held in the Lucas County jail on $75,000 bond after his arraignment today in Toledo Municipal Court.

Ricky Dale Hennessey, 40, of 214 Gibbons St., was charged with three counts of aggravated robbery. He is accused of robbing at knifepoint the Family Dollar, 1703 Airport Hwy.; Kahler Pharmacy, 1941 Airport, and Sunoco, 324 South Detroit Ave., on Tuesday, police said.

He was arrested without incident when police saw him at South Detroit and Shasta Drive on Tuesday night.

In an unrelated heist, a West Toledo fast-food restaurant was robbed of cash early this morning after it had closed.

A man entered the Burger King, 4010 Monroe St., about 1:10 a.m. with a handgun and forced the employees to the office, where he stole the cash, police said.
