Toledo police and liquor control agents arrested 17 people during a raid yesterday on a West Toledo after-hours club that was operating without a license.

More than 70 people were in the bar at 1601 West Central Ave. at 3:30 a.m. when authorities raided the building, said Earl Mack, agent-in-charge of the Ohio Department of Public Safety's Toledo investigative unit. He said many of the people at the club were members the Lords of Armageddon motorcycle gang.

Among those arrested was David G. Hayden, 36, of 2323 Westmonte Rd. He was charged with felony drug trafficking and two misdemeanor charges: keeper of an establishment where liquor is sold in violation of law and illegal possession of alcohol for sale, Mr. Mack said. He was being held in the Lucas County jail pending arraignment tomorrow in Toledo Municipal Court.
