Police search computer in missing child case

Macklin Macklin

Toledo police are looking for a 12-year-old girl who they think may have left home to meet a person she met on the Internet.

Police said Danisha L. Macklin of 1154 Pinebrook Pkwy. has been missing since Friday morning. The student at Reynolds Elementary was reported missing by her mother at 11:30 p.m. Friday, police said. Authorities said the youth had packed her belongings.

Sgt. Greg Smith said police gathered information from a home computer the girl was using. A neighbor reported seeing the youth getting into a green vehicle with a man in his late teens or early 20s. Authorities ask that anyone with any information call police at 419-245-3142.
