The U.S. Marshals Service is looking for a fugitive it said has a felony firearms conviction among other state convictions and is believed to be in Toledo after leaving a halfway house in Cleveland.

Mark K. Cross, 49, is wanted for violating supervised release. He was charged last month and authorities looked for him in his hometown of Delphos, Ohio, on Tuesday, but were directed to Toledo.

Authorities believe he may be in the city's south end, said Chris Hodge, a deputy marshal.

He said Cross is believed to be with 37-year-old Tracy Chesney, who was released on parole in Ohio. She was staying at a half-way house in Toledo. Authorities also want to speak with her.

He said Cross is a drug user, was supposed to participate in treatment, was not working, was to have no contact with Chesney, and has mental health issues.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cross or Chesney is asked to call 1-866-4-WANTED. A reward may be offered, Mr. Hodge said.
