DUI task force targets McCord Rd.

The Lucas County DUI Task Force and other law enforcement agencies will set up a sobriety checkpoint tonight on McCord Road, just north of Airport Highway in Springfield Township.

The checkpoint will be from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. tomorrow. Law enforcement also will patrol around the checkpoint zone.

Personnel from the sheriff's office, Ohio Highway Patrol, Toledo Area Metroparks, Holland, and Whitehouse police, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving will conduct the checkpoint.
