Key Bank on Suder is robbed

A man who may have been armed robbed the Key Bank branch on Suder Avenue today of an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.

The man walked into the bank at 5037 Suder Ave. about 1:20 p.m. and handed a teller a note and demanded money, authorities said.

The suspect indicated he had a weapon and a bomb, police said. Witnesses said they didn't see either.

He left the bank and headed down Benore Road toward Alexis Road, police said.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old black man, with a goatee, wearing a tan and white hat, a striped shirt and jeans.
