North Toledo man charged in shooting

A North Toledoan was arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court on charges he shot another man in the abdomen Wednesday night in East Toledo, police said.

Marcos Elizondo, 53, 3310 East Manhattan Blvd., was charged with felonious assault, police said.

He is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Mr. Elizondo is accused of shooting Brian Thebeau, 37, 367 Parker Ave., about 9:25 p.m. Wednesday in what Toledo police called "a neighborhood feud that erupted in gunfire."

Mr. Thebeau was in fair condition in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center last night.
