Suspicious fires investigated in Toledo

Fire crews investigated four suspicious fires in north central Toledo within five hours early Sunday, Battalion Chief David Hitt said.

No one was hurt in the fires, which began after 2 a.m.

Fires were reported 2:10 a.m. at 1438 Erie St.; 2:23 a.m. at 718 Chestnut St.; 3:57 a.m. at 660 Fernwood Ave., and 6:49 a.m. at 331 Ferris Ave.

It isn t clear whether the incidents are related, Chief Hitt said.
