Tips sought in murder of Toledo bouncer

Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about the murder of a Toledo bar bouncer who was shot and killed about 5 a.m. April 17.

David Wallerstein, 36, was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the street at Broadway and Western Avenue, just south of the downtown. Police said Wallerstein had been in an altercation with three males, and one shot him. He was pronounced dead at 5:36 a.m. at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
