Man shot in North Toledo

A man was shot in the arm and armpit in North Toledo Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The victim was shot at or near a home at 630 Spring St. about 1:15 p.m. The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. His condition was unknown.

Detectives from the Toledo police department were on scene.
