6th man held in Toledoan's death

A sixth man was arrested and charged Wednesday evening in the shooting death of an East Toledo man last month.

Kevin Lamont Arnold, 22, of 152 Ravine Park Village, is charged with murder and aggravated robbery for the Nov. 10 death of Raynail Gaiter, 31, according to court documents. He was arrested just before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Gaiter was shot inside his apartment at 121 Ravine Park Village.

In 2009, Arnold was found guilty of possession of crack cocaine. He was sentenced to three years community control.

Five other Toledo men have been arrested and charged in Gaiter's death. They were arraigned Saturday morning and are all being held in the Lucas County jail.

The men -- Reynard Lewis, 20; Darrick Newsome, 18; Kurt Finley, 19; Samojay Edwards, 19, and Quandre Willingham, 22 -- face varying charges of murder, robbery, and felonious assault related to the slayings of Darnell Townsend-Tall, 37, and Gaiter, 31.

Mr. Lewis, Mr. Newsome, and Mr. Finley are charged in Townsend-Tall's Nov. 7 death, and all five are charged in Gaiter's death.
