Three people were shot at a central Toledo residence Sunday night, apparently in a drive-by, authorities said.

Dwight Gibbs, 39, of Woodrow Boulevard, Kera Mitchell, 27, of Marlow Road, and Ebony Hollis, 32, of Lexington Avenue were taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in unknown conditions. Mr. Gibbs was shot in the chest and legs, Miss Mitchell in the breast, and Ms. Hollis suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, Toledo police Sgt. Joe Heffernan said.

The shooting occurred about 9 p.m. at 621 Woodland Ave. near Dorr Street and Central Park Avenue. Someone shot at the house from the street, possibly from a passing vehicle, Sergeant Heffernan said.

The shooting occurred during the Super Bowl game but it was unclear whether the victims were watching it on television at the time they were shot, the sergeant said. The motive in the shooting was unknown, he said.

There was no word of arrests in the incident.
