HOLIDAY CITY, Ohio — The body pulled Monday from a retention pond near the Ramada Inn has been identified as Surat Nuenoom, 48, of New Hampshire, authorities said.

Mr. Nuenoom, a truck driver who had been missing since March 15, was identified by the Lucas County Coroner’s office through dental records, the Williams County Sheriff’s office said today.

The sheriff’s office said preliminary findings from the autopsy indicate that Mr. Nuenoom died from drowning. An official ruling on the cause of death is pending the results of toxicology and other tests.
