Wood Co. police memorial service set at noon today
5/18/2012BOWLING GREEN -- Law enforcement officers from across Wood County will gather at the county courthouse at noon today for the annual Wood County Police Memorial Service.
Wood County Common Pleas Judge Alan Mayberry will speak at the service, which will be presided over by Lt. Dean Laubacher, commander of the Ohio Highway Patrol's Bowling Green post.
The service, sponsored by the Wood County Fraternal Order of Police and county commissioners, pays tribute to the police officers and sheriff's deputies who have lost their lives in the line of duty in the county. It is open to the public.
