A Troy Township man, believed to be responsible for at least three robberies in the area, was arrested this morning by Oregon police.

Arrested is Jordan Krueger, 22, of 6710 Five Point Rd., in Wood County's Troy Township.

The suspect is believed to have robbed a woman in the Whiteford Union Cemetery in Ottawa Lake, Mich., a consignment shop in West Toledo, and an adult bookstore in Oregon, police said.

The most recent robbery, an adult bookstore on Woodville Road, happened at about 5 a.m. today, said Chief Mike Navarre.

In addition to Oregon police, detectives from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office are questioning the suspect, who they believe robbed Leona Cooper, 76, of her purse as she planted flowers at the graves of relatives on Saturday evening. Authorities said the woman attacked the suspect with a gardening tool as he tried to drive away from the scene.

The man is also accused of robbing Twice But Nice, 2144 West Alexis Rd., in Toledo on May 22.

While in the store, he told sales clerks he had a gun in one pocket and a knife in the other. The man then proceeded to demand cash and stole the register, which contained several hundred dollars, according to a Toledo police report.
