Man shot in head in central Toledo

Toledo police are on the scene in the 1100 block of Fernwood Ave.

A man was shot in the head today during a neighborhood dispute in central Toledo, police said.

Timothy Brazel, born in 1959, was taken from the 1100 block of Fernwood Avenue to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition with what Toledo police Sgt. William Wauford said was a flesh wound.

Marilyn Doss, 55, of the 1100 block of Fernwood, was arrested after the 6:23 p.m. altercation and charged with felonious assault. She was held in the Lucas County jail pending arraignment in Toledo Municipal Court.
