ROCKY RIDGE, Ohio -- An Oak Harbor, Ohio, woman remained hospitalized Monday after she was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday that also hurt a Wilmington, Ohio, man, the Ohio Highway Patrol reported.

Katie Katich, 28, was listed in critical condition at University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio, a hospital spokesman said.

Adam Lay, 18, was treated at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Mr. Lay, in a sport utility vehicle, was turning left from State Rt. 579 onto State Rt. 2 in Ottawa County's Benton Township about 9:30 p.m. when he was struck on the driver's side by the Katich car, which was eastbound on Route 2. The SUV failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, troopers said.
