STRYKER, Ohio -- The Multi-Area Narcotics task force has arrested seven people in northwest Ohio after uncovering a Stryker-based high-grade marijuana distribution network in Williams, Putnam, and Defiance counties, authorities said Thursday.

Arrested were Matthew Randolph, 35, Brandon Taylor, 26, and Carl Blankenship, 37, all of Stryker; Lon Miller, 61, Angela Saman, 48, and Sean Oehler, 34, all of Defiance, and Karissa Mann, 20, of Sherwood, Ohio.

Charges include aggravated marijuana trafficking and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. More arrests and charges are pending, officers said.

Before the local charges, authorities arrested Edgar Santan, 24, of Houston, to which members of the local narcotics task force traveled recently. While there, a search warrant was executed and 40 pounds of marijuana and other evidence were confiscated.
