SANDUSKY — The man accused of killing three people appeared in Sandusky Municipal Court by a video arraignment today.

Curtis Clinton, 41, of 2027 Columbus St., was ordered to be held in the Erie County jail in lieu of a $3 million bond for three counts of aggravated murder. On an unrelated rape charge, bond was set at $25,000, according to an Erie County Sheriff’s deputy.

Clinton is accused of strangling Heather Jackson, 23, and her children, Celina, 3, and Wayne Jr., 18 months, inside their John Street home in Sandusky.

The three were found there Saturday evening.

Clinton, who was released from prison seven months ago after serving a 13-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter and assault, was arrested on Monday.
