2 suspected in robbery arrested after chase

TIFFIN — A pair suspected of robbing a Circle K convenience store in Fostoria on Sunday were arrested in Tiffin after a chase through the city.

Brian Steward, 32, and Robyn Lundy, 31, both of Fostoria are being held in the Seneca County jail on numerous charges stemming from the hold-up and subsequent chase.

Based on information provided by Fostoria police, Tiffin police spotted the two suspects sitting in a car at the Heritage IGA on East Market Street on Sunday evening. As police attempted to apprehend them, they drove off and later crashed into several vehicles that were stopped at the intersection of Washington and East Perry streets in downtown Tiffin.

Police said Mr. Steward was charged with felony fleeing and eluding, assured clear distance, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, driving under suspension, reckless operation, fictitious plates, possession of drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property, complicity to aggravated robbery, forgery, uttering, and theft. Ms. Lundy was charged with aggravated robbery.
